Polymarket Vows to Fight France Geoblock Ban in Court

Polymarket says it will fight a ban from France’s National Gaming Authority (ANJ) in court, calling the regulator’s move “surprising,” according to CasinoBeats.
The prediction market operator stopped accepting transactions from France in November 2024, but continued to allow French IP addresses to access the site. The ANJ and others claimed this encouraged access, and the ANJ imposed a geoblock ban earlier this month.
