DraftKings adds Michigan to multi-state poker pool after MGCB approval

DraftKings has added Michigan to its multi-state poker pool after receiving approval from the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB). The MGCB authorised DraftKings to begin pooling players in Michigan with those in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, creating a combined poker player pool across three states. The decision brings Michigan into the operator’s existing interstate poker structure.

DraftKings already allowed poker players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania to play against each other, and the MGCB sign‑off now extends that arrangement to Michigan, according to SBC Americas. The change was approved by Michigan regulators and applies specifically to the Michigan market.

As a result, players based in Michigan will be included in the same DraftKings poker pool as players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
