ClubWPT joins list of operators to receive C&D order in Arizona

ClubWPT has joined a list of operators that received cease-and-desist orders from the Arizona Department of Gaming, the regulator announced. The ADG said it sent a series of C&D orders to a group of gambling operators, and that the group included a controversial social online poker platform.

In its announcement the ADG said it has issued C&D orders to five operators for various violations. Among the breaches the regulator cited were illicit promotion of gambling and illegal control of an enterprise, with the specifics of the notices varying across the affected operators.
